Having a new baby is so precious – as well as being one of the most intense and exhausting times of your life! Babies change so much, and so quickly, that capturing that brand-new personality in the first few weeks will give you a timeless keepsake to look back on.

I know it might seem daunting to imagine bringing your little one into my studio for their first Newborn photoshoot. I felt the same – and I was photographing my own babies! Gentleness and patience are the key.

I am passionate about creating keepsakes that will forever remind you of the treasured, yet fleeting, moments of childhood.

My Studio, MOS Photography, is located in Goatstown, Dublin 14 and specialises in Family and Newborn Photography.

When to book your Newborn Photoshoot

The best time to book your Newborn Photoshoot is when your baby is under 3 weeks old as this is when your baby is curled up and makes beautiful pose! Michelle takes your first family portraits including you and your baby, older children and baby only too.

How it works

Your baby’s safety and happiness are paramount. We plan for newborn photoshoots to last up to 2-3 hours as all photo sessions are entirely led by your baby. I allow plenty of time for feeding breaks, comforting and changing. My studio is a warm, calm and safe space – parents and babies alike find it soothing! – so you can relax and enjoy the process.

This is a stress-free baby photography session in a lovely calm, safe and warm studio environment where you are welcome to be a part of the creative process.

How to book your Newborn Photoshoot

When you are ready to book me as your newborn baby photographer we will secure a pre-session consultation to discuss about styling and options for your little one.

To capture a beautifully varied gallery of images, your session is styled with a variety of swaddles, blankets, and setups that are specifically designed for newborn babies.

Approximately 3 weeks after your session you will be invited back to the studio to take a look at the portraits taken. You can then choose which products and keepsakes suit you best.
