I was delighted to be asked to photograph Elaine and Phil’s wedding. I met Elaine a couple of years ago at our local fitness bootcamp and we’ve been running up and down hills ever since sharing weekly updates about this and that and eventhough, listening to all the details, I knew Elaine and Phil’s day would be amazing - I really had no idea until I arrived at the cottage in Meath where Elaine was getting ready and then to Clonabreany House where the lads were getting ready on the morning of the wedding. Let’s just say it was a pure pleasure to photograph their special day...a dream for a wedding photographer... the level of detail was unbelievable with a festival theme throughout which made perfect sense seeing as they met at Electric Picnic!
Elaine’s friend and bridesmaid Laura, designed every item of literature - a huge design project but it all looked so good. Elaine even made some wedding decor herself. It was a perfect day for a festival! Thanks to the Lucan Gospel Choir, priest and surprise song from Phil’s brother - the atmosphere in the Church was a real celebration. As was Clonabreany House, I love this venue. A great mix of the old and the new and the landscape makes the perfect backdrop for photography. Elaine and Phil really enjoyed their day and thanks again for sharing! Here’s a few of their details...
